Make it two for two for Terrie Littlepage of Houston who placed seventh overall in winning the women's division. Despite dire pre-race predictions, Jeff Cochran of Kingwood cruised to an easy overall win.

Conditions: clear; mid-80's at the start; very high humidity; calm.

The next race in the series is scheduled for Saturday, August 10th. The entry fee remains $1.00 (yes, one dollar).
