Mel Brown and Associates is a management and consulting firm that provides training, consultation, technical assistance and planning and research to small businesses and both government and private human, health and social service agencies.
Our staff consists of individuals with a wide variety of experiences. That experience includes operating facilities, serving as human resource managers, teaching at various universities, serving as American Correctional Association standards compliance auditors, developing training curriculum, facilitating various processes (e.g. policy and procedure development, and visioning and goal setting) developing training curriculum, providing training for staff at all levels of organizations and managing research and planning projects.
Our Services include leadership development, training, program evaluation, facilitation of policy and procedure development processes, developing employee performance appraisal systems, conducting bed space projection studies, conducting staffing needs analysis for facilities, contract monitoring, standards compliance monitoring, planning and research projects and other forms of technical assistance.
